From 15 Nov 2026 to 4 Apr 2027
A project sponsored by the MA*GA Museum, the Lombardy Region – Department of Culture, and the City of Gallarate.
The MA*GA Museum presents Jago. Corpi Esposti, curated by Tommaso Zijno.

The exhibition places Jago’s works in dialogue with historical pieces by some of the leading figures in over a century of Italian artistic exploration. Although they worked in different eras and contexts, the artists are brought together for this occasion around a common narrative core: dispossession as a revelatory act and war as an extreme condition in which the body becomes a battlefield. The result is a unique exhibition project that sparks analogies, references, and comparisons, tracing the ways in which the image of the human body has represented, and continues to represent today, one of the primary venues for examining power, violence, mysticism, and collective responsibility.
The project concludes in Milan, at Palazzo Lombardia, with Acqua, an evocative installation that explores the relationship between the solidity of matter and the fluidity of time.
