After six months of restoration work, the Jago Museum, housed in the Church of Sant’Aspreno ai Crociferi, reopens with a new exhibition layout.
After the first restoration works are completed, the Jago Museum reopens with a new installation

The restoration work, supported by Intesa Sanpaolo through the Art Bonus programme, focused on the recovery of the side chapels, the cleaning and consolidation of deteriorated stucco, and the partial restoration of the dome, with the aim of preserving the structure and restoring its full architectural clarity.

With the completion of this phase, the redevelopment project moves closer to its ultimate goal: restoring the Church of Sant’Aspreno ai Crociferi to its former splendour, completing the final interventions needed to further enhance the space and ensure its full accessibility.

The reopening of the museum also marks a renewal of the interior layout, designed to offer visitors a new experience and a different perspective on the works on display. The exhibition will also feature a new installation by Jago, enriching the visit and to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

In this way, the Jago Museum reaffirms its vocation as a living space, where sculpture and artistic thought intertwine with the city’s history and cultural fabric, continuing its mission of enhancement and of giving this heritage back to the community.
